Human Perspective e.V.
Our activities
Our association has existed since August 2015. While the projects and project proposals initially focused on the integration of refugees, the focus is now on dealing with basic democratic values for all citizens.
Projects
"Getting to know each other" (completed)
This project conveys the core areas of “My life in the rule of law, my life without violence, my tolerance, media in my life” to Munich and newly immigrated young people in Munich through age-appropriate and practice-oriented project activities such as court visits, workshops and discussions with experts. The common practical experience of topics, which is of daily relevance both as a new beginning for immigrants and as an awareness-raising for locals, should both strengthen the foundation for an active welcoming culture and promote successful integration. The immigrant youths take part in the attractive project activities together with German youths of the same age.
"Basketball connects Munich" (completed)
For young people who have recently immigrated to Munich, the regular sports offer means, in addition to athletic training, an opportunity to distract from traumatic experiences of flight, to reduce any aggression and to practice fair play. In addition, through joint basketball training with young people from Munich who are around the same age, e.g. vocational students, social contacts can be made and the German language can be used and practiced in an informal manner.
Overall, integration in Munich is facilitated and accelerated by this sports offer. In addition, through the common sport, any reservations and fears of contact can be dispelled and overcome.
